Day 2 - Training Camp - GT University

After a much needed rest for some. We woke up to a wonderful blueberry, and chocolate chip pancake breakfast...with a side of cereal and sausage. Moved swiftly into post breakfast cleaning, with our GT teams, and when chores were done the GT'ers scattered around the camp ground to enjoy personal time with God.

Pairs got together all around to share and discuss what God had shown us just beforehand. Then everyone came together for a worship session lead by Amy, David and Paul. Dave McDaniel lead us with a message about the good news that is the gospel, lead us in prayer, in preparation for the next 2 weeks.

After a pizza lunch we were all enrolled in "GT university", during "GT university", teams moved from a session on prayer with Dave, testimonies with Kengo, worship with Hyuk, and finally MC's (master of ceremonies) and skits with Amy.

After a short break certain people, moved directly into “grad school” which had sessions for dancers, guitarists, and the leaders.

Dinner was spicy curry chicken rice, corn, assorted veggies, french fries, and salty chocolate cake. Our final session of GT training camp started shortly after dinner, Silas and Megan, started the session with an explanation of the "do's and don'ts" of tracting.

Next, we were treated to a mock rally, us students as the Japanese High-schoolers and the GT leaders as the "GT team". After a very funny performance by all leaders involved and a short message of John 3:16 by Paul, Dave moved us into a time of worship and prayer. We prayed for those around us as we would begin the trip. Amy introduced the prayer to send each team out, and each team was prayed for by the other teams in preparation for what is to begin early tomorrow.
